About the Guides

The Guides were set up by a group of local volunteers in 1991 and receive a small grant from RBK each year to assist with publicity. We make a small charge for walks and talks towards guides’ expenses.

We introduced walks of Surbiton a few years ago and now lead these on a monthly basis in the summer months.

We are happy to provide walks for small groups if you contact us in advance.

We also provide speakers for talks and illustrated talks throughout the year and can talk on specific themes of Kingston history.
